Day 1:Srinagar to Kargil

Route : Arrival - Srinagar Airport – Kargil

Night Stay : Kargil, 

Distance/Time Taken : 204 Km. (6 - 7 hrs Drive Approx)


Arrival at Srinagar airport, you will met by one of our representative and drive directly towards Kargil.

Kargil (204 Kms) & drive thru Sonamarg. Situated at an altitude of 9000 Ft. Sonamarg – 84 Kms is also called as “The meadow of gold” has, as its backdrop, snowy mountains against a cerulean sky. The Sindh River that meanders through the valley abounds with trout and mahaseer. Stop at Sonamarg for Photography/tea these glaciers remain throughout the year. Continue your towards Kargil and passing over Zojila Pass. Stop at Drass, the 2nd coldest inhabitant place in the World for & enjoy cup of tea. Then drive along the Drass River till one arrives at Kargil & Check in at Hotel.


Day 2: Kargil to Leh

Route : Kargil to Leh enroute Mulbekh & Lamayuru, Leh (11562 i.e. 3524 mts)

Night Stay : Leh

Distance/Time Taken : 234 Km. (7 - 8 hrs Drive Approx)

After breakfast Drive for Leh enroute visiting the Monastery of Mulbekh, famous for 1st century Statue of Maitrya Buddha, carved out of a huge rock. Proceed further towards Lamayuru & passing thru Namikala & Fatula Passes, the highest pass on Srinagar – Leh road.


Day 3: Leh local Sightseeing

Route : Leh to Shey/Thiksey /Stok Gompa – Leh (11562 i.e. 3524 mts)

Night Stay : Leh

Distance/Time Taken : 50 Km. (02– 03 hrs including Sightseeing)

After breakfast visit the monasteries of Shey, Thiksey, and Stok Gompa.

Shey: It was the ancient capital of Ladakh and even after Singge Namgyal built the more imposing palace at Leh, the kings continued to regard Shey, as their real home. The importance which was attached to Shey - the seat of Ladakh's heartland - is attested by the enormous number of Chorten about the village, particularly around the palace complex and barren plain to the north of the road.

Thiksey: is one of the largest and most impressive Gompas. There are several temples in this Gompa containing images, stupas and exquisite wall paintings. It also houses a two - storied statue of Buddha which has the main prayer hall around its shoulder.

Stok Gompa: of Ladakh is situated at a distance of approximately 15 km to the South of the Leh town. It dates back to the 14th century and was founded by Lama Lhawang Lotus.


Day 4: Leh to Nubra

Night Stay : Nubra

Distance/Time Taken : 125 Km. (4 - 5 hrs one way Approx)

After breakfast at hotel drive towards Nubra valley via Khardungla pass (18350 feet) by surface passing thru Horzey & Gangles Village. On arrival in Nubra Valley, drive to diskit, visit Deskit, the HQ town of Nubra Valley. Driving for 30 Kms takes to Khalsar Bridge. Visit desklit monastry. Further drive from Deskit to Hunder, you may see a few Double Humped, Hairy and Bactrian Camels


Day 5: Nubra to Leh

Route : Nubra to Leh, (11562 i.e. 3524 mts)

Night Stay 

Distance/Time Taken : 125 Km. (4 - 5 hrs one way Approx)

Leave for Leh on the same route you came in Nubra.


Day 6: Leh Local Sightseeing

Route : Leh local sightseeing (11562 i.e. 3524 mts)

Night Stay : Leh

Distance/Time Taken : 30 Km. (02 - 03 hrs one way Approx)

Half day at rest or at leisure.

Afternoon visit to Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace and Leh Market.

Shanti Stupa: Located on the hilltop at Changspa. The Stupa was constructed by a Japanese Buddhist organization, known as 'The Japanese for World Peace'. The aim behind the construction of the Stupa was to commemorate 2500 years of Buddhism and to promote World Peace. Leh Palace: Built in the 17th century, it was built as the residential palace for the King Singge Namgyal. Much smaller but resembling the Potala in Lhasa, Leh Palace is now in ruins. It has nine storeys and has been deserted since the royal family shifted to the Stok Palace in 1830s. nine storey, but it is now dilapidated and deserted. It was the home of the royal family until they were exiled to Stok in the 1830s. Drive back to Leh.


Day 7: Leh to Pangong

Route : Leh to Pangong (14270 ft i.e. 4350 mts)

Night Stay : Pangong

Distance/Time Taken : 134 Km. (4 - 5 hrs one way)

After breakfast Leave for full day excursion to Pangong Lake This route takes the visitor past the picturesque villages of Shey and Thikse, and turns off the Indus valley by the side valley of Chemrey and Sakti. The Ladakh

rang is crossed by the Chang-la (18,000 feet / 5,475 M) which despite its great elevation is one of the easier passes, remaining open for much of the year even in winter, apart from periods of actual snowfall. Tangse, just beyond the foot of the pass, has an ancient temple


Day 8: Pangong To Leh

Route : Pangong to Leh (13950 i.e. 4250 mts)

Night Stay : Leh

Distance/Time Taken : 134 Km. (4 - 5 hrs one way)

After breakfast leave for walk at Pangong Lake, a highest salt water lake in the World, Shared by two countries India (25%) & China (75%), enjoy the beauty of lake on banks of the lake while appreciating the changing colours of fascinating high altitude lake. Drive back to Leh


Day 9: Leh Airport drop

Route : Leh to Airport (Departure)

After breakfast transfer from Leh to Airport to catch flight for onward destination with Sweet Holiday memories
